SHAPING CHANGE, ONE STORY AT A TIME

Advocacy Through Narration & Academia

Hi, I’m Charlotte Peng, a marketing and communications creative exploring how storytelling, culture, and social impact can spark connection and empower communities.

My experience spans social entrepreneurship, cultural events, women’s empowerment, pageantry, modeling, entertainment, and purpose-driven marketing. While my path may seem nontraditional, the common thread is my passion for meaningful stories and helping people feel seen.

I recently earned my M.S. in Social Entrepreneurship and Marketing from USC, building on my foundation in communication and strategic storytelling to create campaigns that resonate across audiences and industries.

Some highlights of my work include:

  • Supporting cultural storytelling and large-scale community events with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of LA

  • Interviewing 100+ women founders and creators with The Modern Day Wife

  • Coordinating social-impact initiatives in my graduate program and volunteering at SOCAP Global

  • Representing the Chinese American community as a Miss LA Chinatown Princess

  • Designing digital content and marketing campaigns across nonprofit, fashion, and entertainment spaces

EMPOWERING BEYOND ACADEMIA

Advocacy as Miss LA Chinatown Princess

During my time as Miss LA Chinatown 2nd Princess in 2024, I used the platform to amplify Chinese American voices, celebrate cultural heritage, and engage the community through events, workshops, and storytelling initiatives. This experience strengthened my skills in public speaking, event coordination, community engagement, and mission-driven marketing, and reinforced my commitment to using narrative and creative campaigns to educate, inspire, and connect communities. I’ve since returned to train and mentor the next generation of Miss LA Chinatown titleholders, passing on my experience and helping them develop their own leadership and storytelling skills.

Immuny

Right now, I’m helping build Immuny, an early-stage startup rethinking how people navigate allergies. 

As CMO, I focus on storytelling, brand, and community; creating space for conversations, education, and experiences that make people feel seen, supported, and informed. Please check our socials out!

#StanleySurvives Social Campaign

Excited to share a look at #StanleySurvives, a mock digital marketing campaign my team and I created at USC!

Our goal? Reimagine how the viral Stanley cup could show off its durability in a way that’s fun, immersive, and built for social. We developed a full campaign strategy covering everything from market research and product–market fit to budgeting, KPIs, and creative execution.

In this video, we brought the concept to life through a VR experience where influencers react in real time to the chaos a Stanley cup endures, and somehow survives.

Some key ideas from our campaign:
- POV short-form videos
- VR influencer reactions (like the one in this clip!)
- UGC Challenge: hashtag#StanleySurvives – “Show us the wildest things your Stanley has been through” where top 3 entries get featured + free merch
- Stanley Pop-Up Stores: with a “Day as a Stanley” customizable VR experience based on different cup collections

Over and Over: Cinematic BTS Vlog

I’m honored to have been part of this cinematic collaboration that beautifully captured more than just visuals, it told a story. From the textures of the dress to the softness of the light, every detail came to life through the lens of incredibly talented creatives.

Grateful to @zephronloura for crafting a vision that felt ethereal and grounded all at once, and to @winnieangelphotography for capturing still moments that speak volumes. Wearing a piece from @willfrancodesigns made me feel both powerful and timeless. And the soundtrack—“Over and Over” by Soleil et Fleurs—pulled everything together with the kind of emotional resonance that lingers.

Beyond content creation and storytelling, I built experience in strategic leadership, operational management, and consulting, applying marketing and organizational expertise to drive measurable impact.

Vice President of Operations | MSSE Student Association, USC
In this role, I partnered closely with the President to lead operational strategy, streamline communications, and enhance member engagement. I oversaw administrative functions, orchestrated key meetings and workshops, and implemented systems that ensured transparency and continuity. Through this work, I helped foster a collaborative, innovative, and mission-driven student community in social entrepreneurship.

Consultant | Seed Consulting Group
I worked with nonprofits and government entities to advance environmental sustainability through strategic and operational solutions. My responsibilities included developing strategic plans, optimizing programs and operations, designing impact assessments and marketing strategies, conducting financial modeling, and providing actionable recommendations. This role allowed me to translate data and insights into tangible outcomes for mission-driven organizations.
